DR STUART DEANE - MBBS HONS, BDS HONS, FRACDS (OMS)

Dr Deane is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who gained honours degrees in both Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Sydney. He began his career as a dentist in rural Victoria before commencing specialist training. Dr Deane trained in Sydney and Newcastle, principally at Westmead and John Hunter Hospitals. During his training he gained experience in a wide range of complex maxillofacial procedures including orthognathic surgery, major trauma and oncological surgery of the head and neck. He commenced work with Dr Mouser in 2007 initially with orthognathic surgery cases, but joined the practice in 2009. His areas of interest are orthognathic surgery, implants, dentoalveolar surgery and oral pathology.

Dr Deane is currently Head of Department in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Westmead Hospital and is involved in teaching.



MR MATTHEW RACE – DIP. DENT. TECH, LVI MDT

Matthew Race is the Technical Director of Race Dental Laboratory. He is an L.V.I. Master Technician and was the first 3M ESPE Lava trainer and demonstrator for Australasia.

Matthew was the first Key Opinion Leader on the Wieland Zirconia System in Australia & New Zealand; a lecturer and demonstrator for the Heraeus Kulzer Academy, and an ongoing lecturer for the Queensland Government Oral Health Services continuing education program.

After registering in 1994 he studied extensively throughout Europe and the U.S. gaining accolades at the Vita Factory in Germany, Schottlander Factory in England and studied Neuromuscular Dentistry at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.

In 2003 he founded the ADA accredited implant study group “Simplicity with Implants”. As a specialist Crown, Bridge and Implant technician he is currently one of the senior technical advisors for Core3dcentres International and regularly contributes to leading dental magazines and journals.
